Bridge Street Church welcomes Carol Leslie as its new Administrative Assistant. No stranger to Bridge Street, she's been a member of the church for over 27 years. Born and raised in Belleville, Carol attended the University of Western Ontario where she received her B.A. (Secretarial & Administrative Studies). After working in Toronto for a year, she married Bob, moved to Belleville, and transferred from St. Thomas Anglican to Bridge Street.

Carol has been involved in the life of this church ever since, most recently as Chair of the Grants Committee of the Bridge Street United Church Foundation. Previously, she was an arms length employee of the church when in 1982 she was hired as the first secretary for the Quinte Living Centre (Senior Citizens' Residence), a non denominational outreach project of Bridge Street Church, later leaving to raise three daughters. After a few years working in the home, and while the girls were still young, Carol worked part time at Kente X-Ray and, for the last four years, worked there full time.

Carol looks forward to working with the members of the church family.
